The draft law envisages introduction of licensing to pyrotechnics turnover, strengthening administrative and criminal responsibility for their turnover. Production, development, transportation, storage, realization, exploitation, destruction and utilization of pyrotechnics will be licensed, UzA reported.
MPs underlined importance of control over pyrotechnics turnover and protection of interests of citizens in ensuring public security. MPs passed the law in first reading, considering proposals on improving the document.
As earlier reported, Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan introduced temporary ban on import and sale of pyrotechnics. UzStandard Agency developed and registered two state standards for pyrotechnic goods.
