Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Uzcharmsanoat Association, with the assistance of the Export Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, held a meeting with representatives of the largest Russian online trading platform Wildberries.

The parties discussed the prospects for placing shoes, leather goods and sports products produced in our country on the online platform.

During the dialogue, Wildberries representatives were provided with information about the country’s production potential, product quality, international quality certificates, and export indicators. In turn, representatives of the Internet trade network expressed interest in the issue of exporting products from Uzbekistan to world markets, including the CIS through an electronic platform.

During the meeting with representatives of the company, the issue of bringing our local enterprises through Wildberries to the international market was discussed in detail. A proposal was also considered to establish product distribution centers in Uzbekistan in order to launch online sales of leather and footwear products in our country.

As a result of the negotiations, it was decided to organize an online meeting with the participation of representatives of the Wildberries company and domestic leather and footwear enterprises. The parties also agreed to conclude agreements on the placement of our national products in the international marketplace.

Wildberries has been successfully operating for 17 years. Today she launched her platform in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Israel, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. In one day, the marketplace serves 3.5 million orders. 

More than 210,000 brands can be found on the marketplace. Wildberries mean low prices and a regularly updated assortment. Its online catalog contains about 35,000 leading brands of women’s, men’s and children’s clothing and footwear. Buyers are offered electronics, books, children’s goods. In addition, on the expanses of the online marketplace you can find household goods, food, cosmetics, jewelry, toys and much more.
