Uzbek leader says mass media to receive tax preferences in 2012
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
The Government of Uzbekistan is planning to provide tax preferences and privileges to representatives of mass media from 2012, President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov said in his congratulation message, addressed to works of mass media in connection with their professional holiday.
Uzbek President Islam Karimov underlined that it is planned to decrease significantly tax burden to mass media, printing houses and organizations distributing print editions for their further development.
President Islam Karimov said that such preferences, undoubtedly, create financial ground for ensuring independence of mass media, which along with improvement of income and well-being of mass media employees will help to develop some other industries as well.
Uzbek president Islam Karimov underlined that Uzbekistan should use experience of development state and ensure rigid control over its implementation.
