Uzbek leader says events in Kyrgyzstan managed from outside
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Events in Kyrgyz Republic are result of undermining work, which was organized and managed from outside, the Uzbek President Islam Karimov said on Friday, 18 June 2010.

He said it is difficult to talk about these events. Murder of innocent people, children, and pregnant women is barbarism and cruelty, he said. Uzbek leader added that he is sure that the roots of these bloody crimes will be revealed and they will be punished in line with the law.

President Islam Karimov said: “I am against principle - eye for eye, blood for blood. I am not only against it, but I consider people who think in this way as enemies of our nation.”

Uzbek leader called to think wisely and added that ignorance and cruelty will never bring to kindness. He said there is no well-being and happiness, where is no peace and tranquility.

Islam Karimov said vigilance, self-control and sensibly assess situation are important in current difficult situation. He added that there are people abroad, who pose themselves as friends.

Uzbek President said that he is not agree with allegations that this is conflict between ethnic Uzbeks and Kyrgyzs. “I am categorically against such statement. Uzbeks and Kyrgyzsa are not guilty. This is undermining actions, which were organized and managed from outside,” he said.

“Forces behind this sabotage intend to attract Uzbekistan into conflict. We are great nation and we are able to find common language with Kyrgyz nation, with whom we live together for thousand years. We can independently solve our problems,” Uzbek leader said.
