Uzbekistan 08/06/2009 Uzbek leader receives Bahraini finance minister

Oqsaroy residence

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbek President Islam Karimov received Shaikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance of Bahrain, at the Oqsaroy presidential residence on 5 June.

Uzbek leader said the visit of Bahraini ministers is evidence on mutual interest in development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Bahrain.

Shaikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa said that he held negotiations with several ministries and departments of Uzbekistan and exchanged opinion on development of cooperation. He expressed gratitude for warm reception.

The sides discussed issues of economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Bahrain.
