The agreement between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of Azerbaijan on military and technical cooperation was signed on 27 March 2009 during the visit of the Uzbek Defense Minister Kabul Berdiyev to Baku.

The President of Uzbekistan entrusted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan to notify the Azerbaijani side that necessary internal procedures are implemented to enforce the document.
