Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan passed the law on 21 October 2010, while Senate approved it on 3 December 2010.

The law is directed at regulating issues on administrative responsibility for violation of set responsibility on mandatory insurance of civil responsibility of employers.

The law introduces additional article 49-2 to Code on Administrative responsibility for violation of employers on mandatory insurance of their responsibility on reimbursement of damage to life and health in connection with injury during work time, professional disease or other damage to health during work hours.

The law creates normative-legal base for ensuring control over execution of obligations of employers on insurance of their civil responsibility.
