Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The state visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, to Uzbekistan, invited by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has concluded.
During the two-day visit, high-level talks were held, resulting in the signing of a Joint Statement on further deepening and expanding comprehensive strategic partnership relations.
A substantial package of bilateral documents was adopted, and major joint projects in the fields of energy, automotive manufacturing, and textile industry were launched.
The heads of state attended a joint concert featuring artists from Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
The dialogue between the heads of state continued in Khiva, where the Presidents visited the production facilities of the "Khiva Gilamlari" carpet factory and the exhibition of products branded "Made in Uzbekistan."
The leaders, accompanied by their spouses, also visited the historical and architectural treasures of the ancient oasis city.
At the conclusion of the visit, at Urgench International Airport, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his wife bid farewell to President Sadyr Japarov and his spouse.
President Mirziyoyev then flew back to Tashkent.
