During the meeting, the Korean businesses got acquainted with current affairs and perspectives of development of communication and information sector in Uzbekistan, ongoing reforms and potentials and perspectives of cooperation.

The Korean partners familiarized with current state of electronics and home appliances production sector, as well as perspectives of their development. The perspectives of electronics industry, investment opportunities and projects within the sector were presented at the event.

On the same day, the UzACI hosted a cooperation exchange between businesses of Uzbekistan and Korea in ICT sphere. Participants got acquainted with opportunities of the partners, exchange opinion on development of cooperation, realization of new projects and others.

The Uzbek side informed the Korean side on introduction of ICT in Uzbekistan, existing conditions for development of ICT, ongoing scientific-research projects, development of e-document flow, web-services, etc.

The sides exchanged opinion on development of bilateral relations in ICT sphere, opportunities for its boosting its scale. The sides noted need to expand cooperation in use of Internet and Internet-applications, developments in e-commerce, training of specialists and exchange of technologies.

Korean side expressed interest in the activities of the Uzbek counterparts and readiness to active cooperation.
