The Forum is organized by the Ministry of Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan, Korea National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), “Electronic Government” System Development Center, Tashkent University of Information Technologies and Inha University in Tashkent.

Representatives of various agencies, private companies and scientific circles arrived in Tashkent to participate in the forum. The Uzbek side was represented by state bodies, educational establishments, businesses, etc.

At the event, the participants discussed use and development of free and open-source software, including in e-government, studied experience of South Korea in the area. They also discussed perspectives of cooperation in the field of FOSS.
