Official representative of Kazakh Foreign Ministry Askar Abdrakhmanov said on 15 March that Kazakhstan highly values relations with Uzbekistan and pays special attention for further strengthening and developing bilateral mutual beneficial cooperation, interaction in politics, trade-economic, humanitarian and other spheres.

“In our view, official visit of the Head of state will open new opportunities for quality improvement of bilateral relations,” he said.

Kazakh President heads to Tashkent for constructive and detailed discussion of cooperation issues and hope for develop joint decisions, which benefit all Central Asia and people living in the region.

Kazakhstan plans to present its view on interaction of two state in ensuring regional security, joint and rational use of water resources, realization of joint economic projects.

He said the visit will serve for further strengthening of traditionally friendly Kazakh-Uzbek relations and developing fruitful cooperation.

It is planned to sign several documents on the results of the visit.
