The first in the weight category up to 66 kg to the highest step of the podium was Mukhriddin Tilovov, then in the category up to 73 kg - Obidkhon Numonov. This result brought Uzbek athletes 700 points for the world ranking and 350 points each on the way to the Paris 2024 Olympics. The rest of the combatants of our delegation, although they were not among the winners, earned valuable rating points.
It is worth noting that at last year's Grand Prix in Almada, competitions in the weight category up to 73 kg ended with the victory of the Uzbek judoka Murodjon Yuldoshev. Now the national team of Uzbekistan will take part in the Grand Slam tournament, which will be held in Paris on 4-5 February.
