Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The number of shares issued by 631 joint-stock companies and safekept by the Central Securities Depository of Uzbekistan totaled 17.28 trillion with the aggregate par value totaled 164.6 trillion soums as of 1 October 2022.
The number of issued shares increased by 5.07 trillion, and the aggregate volume of issued shares increased by 11.55 trillion soums as 9 months of 2022 passed.
The number of corporate bonds safekept by the Central Securities Depository totaled 604.4 thousand with aggregate par value totaled 1 trillion soums, including 231.2 thousand corporate bonds issued by 17 limited liability companies with aggregate par value totaled 548.24 billion soums.
State-owned share in authorized capital of 225 joint-stock companies totaled 133.66 trillion soums as of 1 October 2022, including state-owned share in authorized capital of 213 joint-stock companies totaled 133.63 trillion soums which were safekept by the Central Securities Depository. State-owned share in authorized capital of joint-stock companies increased by 8.34 trillion soums while the number of joint-stock companies with state-owned share decreased by 9.
Aggregate par value of share owned by economic management bodies in authorized capital of 160 joint-stock companies totaled 7.37 trillion soums. The volume of assets owned by economic management bodies decreased by 108.4 soums over 9 months of 2022, while the number of joint-stock companies decreased by 3.
190 sets of documents applying for various depository operations have been received in the reporting period.
The Central Securities Depository recorded in the register 125 issues of securities including 38 primary and new issues of share, 59 additional issues of shares, 10 additional issues of shares on capitalization, 1 additional issue on consolidation, as well as 17 issues of corporate bonds and changes to issues of 12 issuers as of 1 October 2022.
The Central Securities Depository removed from the register share issues of 16 issuers due to liquidation, part of issues of 25 issuers, one or number of issues of 10 issuers, a bond issue of 1 issuer and a part of bond issue of 1 issuer.
The Central Securities Depository assembled 2023 registers and allocated international codes to 864 securities of 650 domestic issuers as of 1 October 2022.

The number of depositors saw a 1.52% decrease from the prior year.
