On 30 August 2007, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Brussels, Belgium, organized a briefing on the Investment Climate and Economic Potential of Uzbekistan.

The briefing was attended by the representatives of the business circles of Belgium, research centers, diplomatic missions accredited in Belgium and media.

The participants of the briefing were informed about the results of the social-economic reforms in Uzbekistan, economic performances of Uzbekistan, current condition and perspectives of trade and economic relations of Uzbekistan.

Besides, during the briefing the information on ample opportunities for further development of trade and economic and investment cooperation with the foreign companies and firms in various branches of economy of republic has been covered.

The film entitled "Dynamic Uzbekistan" about the modern development of Uzbekistan during the years of Independence has been demonstrated at the event.

Participants of the briefing positively responded and highly appraised the level of the usefulness of a business climate of Uzbekistan for foreign investments.
