Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The leadership of the Veon telecommunications holding held a meeting with the Minister of Information Technologies and Communications Development Sherzod Shermatov. At the meeting, the importance of increasing the country’s IT export and strengthening the attention of the Veon group to the development of IT education was emphasized.

The meeting took place within the framework of the meeting of the Supervisory Board of Directors of Veon, which is held for the first time in Uzbekistan.

In turn, representatives of the Veon holding noted the interest of potential foreign partners in investing in Uzbekistan.
