Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 22 November, the 2019 China International Food Ingredients Exhibition opened at the Nanjing International Exhibition Center. This is the only international specialized exhibition of food ingredients in China organized by the Agricultural Trade Trade Promotion Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, where food ingredient dealers from around the world discuss collaboration.

The exhibition has a large "international model", which was attended by more than 400 domestic enterprises and 66 companies from 22 countries and regions, as well as 2,000 buyers in a certain direction. Among them, the elements of “one belt and one path” can be seen everywhere: a compressed enteromorph from Vietnam, a multi-grain from Turkey, saffron from Iran, coffee from Africa ... Food products from the countries of “One belt and one path” are all in a completely new setting.

“This is pure natural honey, sugar-free, good for the body!” - a young man from Uzbekistan is fluent in Chinese and introduces himself to the branded products of the national company.

At the head of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative, the number of trade and economic contacts between China and Uzbekistan is growing, the number of direct flights between the two countries is increasing, and negotiations are also underway to open lines in Central Europe.

“Starting this year, honey from Uzbekistan has been approved by the relevant Chinese departments and allowed to be imported into China,” the company employee said. Agricultural relations between the two countries are entering a “hot phase”. The relevant products of the Uzbek side can be delivered to China, and Chinese companies can invest in Uzbekistan, as well as go on to put on and play a leading role for local enterprises”.
