Uzbek head approves projects on modernization of production capacities
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbek President Islam Karimov signed a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan to speed up realization of the important investment projects and purchase of technological equipment for 2009-2010.
The resolution approved list of projects on modernization, technical and technological re-equipment of production capacities and list of new projects on modernization and re-equipment, which will be realized in 2009-2010.
The projects will be implemented in such sectors of economy as oil and gas, automobile production, railway and air transportation, electronics production, logistics, chemical industry, energy, etc.
Some projects will be directed to creation of infrastructure at the Navoi free industrial and economic zone.
