The agreement between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of Malta on cooperation in fighting against organized crime, contraband, and illegal drug traffic and psychotropic substances was inked on 2 July 2009 in London, UK.

The President of Uzbekistan entrusted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan to notify Malta that necessary internal procedures are implemented to enforce the document.
