Uzbek head approves agreement with Malta on fighting organized crime, drugs
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbek President Islam Karimov signed a resolution on 30 October to approve the agreement between Uzbekistan and Malta.
The agreement between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of Malta on cooperation in fighting against organized crime, contraband, and illegal drug traffic and psychotropic substances was inked on 2 July 2009 in London, UK.
The President of Uzbekistan entrusted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan to notify Malta that necessary internal procedures are implemented to enforce the document.
