Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 28 December 2018, the Government of Uzbekistan place 200,000 bonds with nominal value of 1 million soums each. Total volume of issue made up 200 billion soums.

Interest rates on bonds will be paid quarterly.

Six dealers took part in the auction, which submitted competitive bids for the purchase of a total of 216,500 bonds for a total of 221.6 billion soums.

As a result of the auction, 200,000 bonds worth 204.9 billion soums were placed.

The weighted average yield of securities was 14.86% per annum, with a minimum yield of 14.74% and a maximum yield or cut-off price of 15.07%.
