Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) –– On 5 March, the Central Bank jointly with the Ministry of Finance held an auction on placement of government securities with a maturity of 12 months, a nominal value of 1.0 million soums in an amount of 30,000 units, with a total issuance of 30.0 billion soums with the quarterly interest payments.

The auction was attended by 2 dealers, who submitted competitive bids for the purchase of a total of 30,000 bonds for a total amount of 30.0 billion soums.

During the auction, 30,000 bonds were placed (100% of the total issue) in the amount of 30.02 billion soums.

The total amount of redemption of government securities placed at the auction will be 34.5 billion soums.

The weighted average yield of securities, the minimum level of yield, as well as the maximum yield or cut-off price were 14.94% per annum.
