Jahon news agency reported that the event was organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Germany.

Representatives of German Association of Economic Cooperation with the Central and Eastern Europe, Munster Handicrafts Chamber, Lemken, SEW Eurodrive GmbH, Elektromaschinenfabrik Lammers and others attended the roundtable.

Participants received information on achievements of Uzbekistan in independence years, social-economic development of Uzbekistan, created conditions for foreign investors, opportunities for implementation of joint investment projects, programmes on modernization of economy and industry, conditions at Navoi free industrial and economic zone and Angren special industrial zone.

It was noted that Uzbekistan is industrial center of the region and it has dynamically developing economy and growing consumer markets. It was noted that the sides have interest in expanding industrial-technical cooperation with North Rhine-Westphalia businesses in implementation of perspective investment projects.
