Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan has welcomed the ceasefire in Gaza and the exchange of prisoners.

Press Secretary of the Ministry, Akhror Burkhanov, emphasized that these agreements are an important and positive step towards de-escalating tensions and achieving the long-awaited peace in the region.

He also praised the efforts of Qatar, the United States, and Egypt, which played a crucial role in facilitating the agreement.

"We strongly urge all parties to strictly adhere to the terms of the agreement," added Akhror Burkhanov.

Furthermore, he reaffirmed Uzbekistan's commitment to supporting international efforts aimed at ensuring stability and security in the Middle East.
