Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan views the trilateral cooperation platform with Azerbaijan and Türkiye as a key venue for unlocking significant untapped potential between the countries. This was stated by the Press Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Akhror Burkhanov.
On 29 January, the second meeting within the framework of this trilateral platform took place in Ankara, Türkiye.
Akhror Burkhanov noted that the meeting’s agenda was extensive and covered nearly all aspects of cooperation. Special attention was given to expanding interaction between the countries on pressing regional and global issues.
He mentioned that the parties agreed to make every effort to strengthen trade and economic cooperation and emphasized the need to increase interconnectedness between the countries.
"As you know, the first meeting was held in 2022 in Tashkent, and this meeting was the second. Currently, attracting other countries is not on the agenda of this format," he added.
