Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has expressed deep concern over the sharp escalation of the situation in the Middle East, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).

The MFA emphasizes that further escalation could lead to unprecedented security risks in the region, with unpredictable consequences for the international community.

"We urge the conflicting parties to exercise restraint and avoid actions that could exacerbate tensions," the statement said.

Uzbekistan also highlights the urgent need for measures to peacefully resolve the conflict in accordance with international law and United Nations Security Council resolutions.
