Uzbek Foreign Minister Receives Copies of Credentials from Newly Appointed Indonesian Ambassador
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, received copies of the credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ms. Siti Ruhaini Dzuhayatin.
During the meeting, the head of Uzbekistan’s foreign ministry warmly congratulated the Ambassador on the start of her diplomatic mission in the country and expressed confidence that her work would contribute to the further strengthening of Uzbek-Indonesian relations.
Both sides noted the positive momentum in the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Indonesia in the political, trade and economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian, and educational spheres. They emphasized the importance of continuing an active inter-ministerial dialogue, as well as cooperation within international and regional structures, including the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Non-Aligned Movement.
Bakhtiyor Saidov wished the Ambassador a successful and productive tenure in Uzbekistan and reaffirmed Uzbekistan’s readiness to provide full support for the implementation of joint projects and initiatives aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation.
