Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  The Italian government has appointed Piergabriele Papadia de Bottini as the new Ambassador of Italy to Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with the newly appointed ambassador and expressed readiness to provide comprehensive support for his diplomatic mission in the country.

During the meeting, the key priorities of the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Italy were discussed.

Saidov emphasized the importance of enhancing bilateral relations and assured that Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs is committed to assisting the ambassador in his endeavors.
