Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 4 February, in Kuala Lumpur, the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a meeting with the Foreign Minister of Malaysia, Dato Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Haji Hassan.

The talks took place ahead of the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Malaysia and focused on discussing key areas of cooperation between the two countries. The ministers addressed issues of bilateral relations, as well as cooperation on multilateral platforms.

As noted by Bakhtiyor Saidov, Uzbekistan and Malaysia are showing dynamic growth in their partnership, and both sides are hopeful for a new chapter in their bilateral relations.

The upcoming visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Malaysia is expected to provide additional momentum to expand cooperation across various fields.
