Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 4 February 2025, Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with Malaysian Minister of Higher Education Zambry Abd Kadir.

During the talks, the sides discussed promising areas of cooperation in the field of education. Bakhtiyor Saidov emphasized that education remains a key element in strengthening the bilateral partnership between Uzbekistan and Malaysia.

"Education remains a cornerstone of our expanding bilateral partnership, and cooperation in this area continues to strengthen. Today, we had a productive discussion on several promising areas of collaboration," said the Uzbek Foreign Minister.

The meeting highlighted the importance of strengthening educational ties between Uzbekistan and Malaysia, which may lead to the implementation of new joint projects in this field.
