Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with the Emir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

During the talks, Saidov conveyed the warmest greetings and best wishes from President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Emir.

The conversation took place in an open and friendly atmosphere. Both sides highlighted Qatar’s impressive progress and discussed prospects for further strengthening Uzbekistan–Qatar cooperation in trade, investment, innovation, education, and cultural exchange.

Special attention was given to creating new opportunities aimed at improving the well-being of both nations.

“We are committed to building a future-oriented partnership based on trust, mutual respect, and genuine friendship between our countries,” stressed the Uzbek Foreign Minister.

He emphasized that Uzbekistan values Qatar as a reliable and long-term partner and looks forward to the successful implementation of joint initiatives.
