In line with the plan, one of the friendly matches will be played against Spain’s Barcelona at the Nou Camp stadium.

The management of the Uzbek and Spanish clubs agreed in 2008 to arrange two friendly matches. The second friendly will be held in Tashkent in May 2009, which will become the most expensive friendly match in the history of football. The Catalan club will receive 5m euros for the match.

The Marca newspaper reported that Barca had already been paid 3 million euros and would get the remaining 2 million euros after the match.
