Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the newly appointed UN Resident Coordinator in Uzbekistan Sabine Mahl.

Saidov noted on his Telegram channel that the "Uzbekistan 2030" strategy fully aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals.

He also emphasized the extensive cooperation program between the government of Uzbekistan and the UN, as well as its agencies.

The head of the Uzbekistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted that the close cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UN demonstrates high dynamics in all directions.

Saidov reminded that recently, the UN General Assembly has adopted 9 resolutions initiated by Uzbekistan, and in 2024 alone, 3 resolutions.

"We are poised to achieve even greater results. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan is ready to provide all necessary support to the UN Representation team in Uzbekistan," Saidov added.
