Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, has received the credentials of Ricardo Martínez Vázquez, the newly appointed Ambassador of Spain to Uzbekistan.

The diplomat also represents Spain’s interests in the Russian Federation, Turkmenistan, and Armenia.

During the meeting, Saidov noted the steady positive momentum in bilateral relations between Tashkent and Madrid.

He emphasized the significant potential for cooperation, which, according to him, the ministries of both countries must work together to realize.

The Uzbek foreign minister wished the new ambassador success in his work, highlighting the importance of developing new areas of collaboration between Uzbekistan and Spain.
