Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 18 September, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with UN Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs Rosemary DiCarlo.

The agenda of the dialogue included issues of further strengthening bilateral relations. Particular attention was paid to enriching economic diplomacy with tangible results.

“We had a sincere meeting with Rosemary DiCarlo, UN Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs. We discussed cooperation in the field of regional security, sustainable development, etc. DiCarlo was informed about the main directions of the recently approved Uzbekistan-2030 Strategy, which corresponds to the Sustainable Development Goals. Uzbekistan remains committed to cooperation with the UN in solving global problems and building a better future for all,” said Bakhtiyor Saidov.
