Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 22 September 2023, in New York City, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the High Representative of the UN Alliance of Civilizations Miguel Moratinos.

The parties exchanged views on the current geopolitical situation in the world and emphasized the importance of dialogue in resolving and preventing conflicts. The main areas of cooperation and proposals for intensifying interaction in strengthening intercultural and interreligious ties were also discussed.
