Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov condemned the terrorist attacks in Russia.

"We strongly condemn the brutal terrorist acts committed yesterday in Dagestan," wrote the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on his Telegram channel.

"On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, we express our deepest condolences to the families of the victims," he added.

On Sunday evening, a group of armed criminals opened fire on a synagogue and a church in Derbent, causing fires in the buildings.

Almost simultaneously, information was received about an attack on a traffic police post in Makhachkala. Additionally, there was an attack in the village of Sergokala, where the perpetrators shot at a police car, injuring one officer.

Several people, including police officers, were killed as a result of these terrorist attacks.
