The Festival was organized by Federation of Sport cinema and television of Uzbekistan, Fund Forum, Ministry of Culture and Sport Affairs, National Olympic Committee, several public and state bodies.

Over 30 films from Germany, France, Portugal, Belarus, Latvia, Iran and other countries were demonstrated within the festival. The festival will show documentary films, television programmes, social reels and reports, etc.

The film of directors Anvar Avazkhodjaev and Lyudmila Garmash “Wrestling – my element” about three time Olympic Games Champion Artur Taymazov won in nomination “Olympic Games – Olympic Spirit”.

Documentary films “Kurash” and “Uzbek football”, TV report “First jump from parachute”, video real “Dreams come true”, TV film “We are different, but we are united with aikido”, documentary film “Honour of Uzbekistan” won in various nominations.

Among the winners were films “I want to run” (Germany), “Our football” (Georgia), “I am happy” (Belarus), “Rider (France) and animated films of Iranian filmmakers.

The films, which won in qualification round, will be shown at the 31st World Festival “Sport movies & TV” in Milan, Italy.
