Culture 17/11/2014 Uzbek film wins prize in Moscow cinema festival

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A film “Unitma meni” (Don’t forget me) of famous Uzbek director Kamara Kamalova received special prize of the Fund for Social-Cultural Initiative “The best film for children” at the 11th International charity cinema festival “Luchezarniy Angel”, which was held in Moscow (Russia) on 1-7 November 2014.

The film “Unitma meni” was taken at Uzbekfilm cinema studio on order of Uzbekkino national agency.

Over 368 feature, short, documentary and animation films from 26 countries participated in the festival. About 83 films were included to competition programme and 61 films – to non-competative programme, Uzbekkino said.

The festival was organized by Ministry of Culture of Russia, Moscow administration and several other organizations.

It is worth to mention that The film “Unitma meni” also won an award “Audience Award” of the 19th International Film Festival for Children and Youth “Schlingel - 2014”, which was held in Chemnitz (Germany).
