During the talks after the ceremony, Cavaco Silva positively rated current state and perspectives of development of the Uzbek-Portuguese relations in public-political, trade-economic and cultural humanitarian spheres.

Portuguese President underlined that there is potential for deepening and expanding mutual beneficial cooperation and boosting interaction in various directions.
