The paper said that the programme also envisages to restructure first emergency medical aid service “103” and update its fleet.
Currently, Ministry of Healthcare purchased 100 mini-buses of Damas model and distributed to medical establishments. It is planned to buy 300 such models by 2015.
It is also planned to purchase ambulance automobiles and their number will reach 15% from total fleet of medical services.
Ministry of Healthcare already held tenders to purchase ambulance automobiles. It is expected that ambulance automobiles will start to serve people in 2013.
