In particular, the delegation met with the advisor on economic, investment, science and employment issues of the Government of Andalucía Antonio Ávila Cano, secretary-general on economic issues, President of Extenda on promotion of Andalucía in external market Gaspar Yanez Dias Salazar and chairperson of the Government of Andalucía in Almeria province Maria Isabel Rekena Yanez.

Within the meeting, the Uzbek side presented economic and investment potential of Uzbekistan, investment opportunities of the country, as well as measures on stimulating attraction of foreign direct investments.

The sides noted that they have great perspectives in expanding cultural-humanitarian relations, use of tourism potential of two states.

Business circles of Andalucía expressed interest in establishing dialogue with the Uzbek partners, including in such areas as processing agriculture goods, production of food, construction materials, pharmaceuticals and innovation issues.

The sides agreed that they will form a delegation from representatives of business circles of Andalucía, which will pay visit to Uzbekistan in autumn 2012.
