Uzbek diplomat pays visit to Russia’s Astrakhan region
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
First Secretary of the Embassy of Uzbekistan to Russia Beruniy Alimov held negotiations with the Minister of international and foreign economic relations with Astrakhan region of Russia Denis Afanasev.
Beruniy Alimov has been invited to Astrakhan by local Regional society of the Uzbek cultural societies “Uzbekistan” to participate in events dedicated to the 570th anniversary of the Uzbek poet Alisher Navoi.
During the meeting at the ministry, the sides considered perspectives of cooperation between Astrakhan region and Uzbekistan, transport communication, formation of migration flow, bilateral trade-economic relations, as well as opening of Consular Office in Astrakhan region.
At the same time, the officials considered issues on possible visit of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Russia Ziyadulla Pulatkhodjaev to Astrakhan region.
