Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 14 April 2025, Bobur Usmanov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with the Secretary General of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA), Kairat Sarybay.

During the talks, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and CICA. Special attention was given to enhancing the organization’s mechanisms aimed at expanding trade, economic, and transport-logistics ties in the Asian region.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on current regional and international issues, including improving the activities of CICA and strengthening its position on the international stage.
