Uzbek delegation visits Latvia to study property privatization, management
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A delegation of Uzbekistan visited Latvia on invitation of the Lanida, Latvian Real Estate Association, in the first half of August. The visit was aimed at studying experience of Latvia in privatization, registration and management of real estate and valuation activity.
The Uzbek delegation included representatives of the State Property Committee, Ministry of Justice, International Finance Corporation, and others.
During the visit, the delegation held negotiations with leadership of Justice Ministry, Economy Ministry, State Land Service, State Privatization Agency of Latvia, Latvia Commercial Banks’ Association, Latvian Association of Property Appraiser and Latvia Real Estate Association.
The visit will help Uzbekistan to improve quality of normative documents and national property valuation system in line with the international practice.
