Uzbek delegation to visit agriculture exhibition in Belgium
Libramont 2009 to present cattles, cattle-breeding technologies
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Diskus Group under aegis of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and at the assistance of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Luxemburg region (Belgium) will organize a visit of the Uzbek businesses and farmers to International Agriculture and Cattle-breeding Exhibition Libramont 2009 (Belgium), which will be held on 21-18 July 2009.
The visit is organized to implement presidential resolution from 23 March 2006 “On measures on stimulation on increasing of cattle number in private, dehkan and farm entities” and agreement on cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and Diskus Group, signed on 24 April 2009.
Libramont is the largest event for farmers and cattle-breeders in Europe in 2009. It is expected that over 1,000 participants will attend the event and about 3,500 animals will be presented. Over 200,000 visitors are expected to visit the exhibition.
The Uzbek delegation will also hold talks with potential partners and visit farms and specialized schools for farmers within the visit to Belgium.
