The forum, chaired by the German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle, was attended by the representatives of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. Afghanistan was invited as observer.

Representatives of the European Union, UN Economic Commission for Europe, OSCE and others also participated at the event.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said that the joint statement was adopted at the end of the conference.
