Uzbek delegation holds talks with ITU Secretary-General

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan led by acting Minister of Development of Information Technologies and Communications Sherzod Shermatov held a meeting with the Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Houlin Zhao.

According to the Uzbek Ministry, the meeting was held in Minsk within the visit of the delegation of Uzbekistan to Belarus.

The sides discussed issues of further cooperation between Uzbekistan and ITU. The sides exchanged opinion on improving index of Uzbekistan in international rating of ICT development, improving skills of specialists, etc.

Houlin Zhao was invited to Uzbekistan to take part in ICT Week, which will be held in September 2017.
