Uzbek delegation holds meetings with the management of leading companies in the UAE

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During the visit of a working group from Uzbekistan to the United Arab Emirates, Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade, held several meetings with the heads of leading Emirati companies.

In particular, a dialogue with Humaid Al Falasi, Chief Executive Officer of the ENOC Group, was held. The heads of interested ministries and departments of our country also took part in the negotiations to discuss the prospects for implementing joint investment projects.

The issues of establishing partnership in a number of areas were considered during the meeting with Shiraz Allana, director of IFFCO Group. They talked about the development of joint investment projects in the fields of agriculture and chemical industry.

The Emirati side expressed interest in implementing a project in Uzbekistan to produce export-oriented agricultural products, meaning a full cycle of growing and processing tomatoes.

In addition, given the experience of IFFCO Group in the segment of personal care and synthetic detergents, the issue of joint development of a new project for the production of related products on the basis of chemical-industrial park in Chirchik was agreed.

Talks with Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi, General Director of Masdar, were held on the same day. During negotiations they discussed the expansion of bilateral cooperation in the development of green energy. As a result of the talks, the parties agreed to develop the success of mutual cooperation at a given pace, relying on the existing trusting partnership relations.

There were work meetings, which allowed participants to discuss in detail the prospects for cooperation in many areas of mutual interest for our countries.
