Uzbek delegation discusses acceleration of trade and transport agreements with Mongolia
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 15 to 18 April, a delegation led by Ilzat Kasimov, Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade, visited Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
During the visit, meetings were held with officials from various Mongolian ministries, including the Ministry of Roads and Transport, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Food, Agriculture, and Light Industry, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, as well as with the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mongolia.
The focus of the meetings was on preparations for upcoming high-level events, accelerating the implementation of agreements reached at the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission between Uzbekistan and Mongolia, which took place in February of this year.
Additionally, the discussions emphasized strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries and expanding cooperation in trade, transport, and logistics.
