In the border district of Syrdarya region, the customs officers revealed and detained 400 kg of non-ferrous metals during the expansion of vehicle of Gaz-24 model. The violator, Marat B. planned to smuggle metals to neighbouring country.

During the inspection of truck Kamaz-53212, which was heading by pass roads, Syrdarya customs officials seized over 10 tonnes of ferrous metal from the citizen of Uzbekistan Dilshod E.

Citizen of Bukhara Sirojiddin G tried to smuggle over 3,400 tonnes of metal to neighbouring state, the customs service said.

Dilmurod K. was arrested, when he attempted to smuggle 2,8 tonnes of ferrous metal to neighbouring state.

Investigations are underway in above-mentioned cases.
