The committee said that customs officers from Namangan region detained citizen of Andijan region, Mirzohid M. Preliminary investigation showed that he tried to realize large number of mobile phones, which were smuggled from neighboring state.

At inspection of Nexia car, customs officers seized 341 mobile handsets and 529 units of phone accessories. Total cost made up 25.5 million soums.

At inspection of luggage of passengers of Sharjah-Tashkent flight, they detained citizen of Bukhara region Anvar G, who “forgot” to declare 12 mobile handsets with the cost of over 7 million soums.
